Surfing can be a very demanding sport physically. It challenges strength, muscular endurance, stamina & balance. Even the simplest of moves in surfing can provide a full body workout. Surfing causes a motivation to stay fit & healthy. It expands your lung capacity & builds up muscle, especially in the shoulder area. As you progress through surfing, you'll quickly realise it has helped you to make healthier and happier life choices.


 

Travel


Some travel for luxury, some travel to be able to see the world. Some like the mountains, some favour the beach & others may prefer the city. For those that enjoy travelling to beaches across the world, surfing is definitely a sport for you to pick up. Have you ever wanted to visit the worlds greatest surf spots? Although i just said that surfings a great way to make friends and create companionships, its also a great way to create peace with yourself, Wether you choose to go out into the surf at 5am or 1pm, surfing can provide independence. While you may be used to spending time with lots of friends, surfing is also an amazing way to relax and focus on yourself. When you've had a bad day, it's always so relaxing to go and take some time with yourself in the sea.


 

Mental Health


Do you need to relieve stress? Well, surfing can definitely help with that. In surfing, the sea is sometimes called the great equaliser. Meaning that it doesn't matter who you are, where you come from and what you did, as long as you learn to respect yourself, the ocean & the people & things around you. When out in the sea, its easy to feel a sense of freedom, to relax & to forgot your worries.
